Cloth Diapers
Thanks to a friend we are trying cloth diapers on Wing. I’m surprised at how well they work — very absorbent. I also like their enviro value. Is it enough to offset the additional work load they promise? It’s worth a try. Like everything else cloth diapers are a commodity and so there are a dozen dozen variety. Just do a google search on them.

I mentioned earlier that my Mamaw had hip surgery. X-rays taken yesterday indicate she needs a second operation. The bone isn’t getting blood, so a hip replacement is required. Keep her in your prayers, please.

Mothering.com did an article a couple months back about how much better it is for the enviorment to cloth diaper even considering the water and electric used. It is even better for the enviroment in TN because the lack of landfill space but the abundance of water. We find that cloth diapering is very easy to do. Easier than paying 20 dollars a week and running out of diapers for sure.
We used cloth diapers on our daughter, except when traveling. We were quite happy with them. We used a diaper service, though, so there was no capital investment in cloth and someone else actually did the laundry.
So far so good. We’re still relying on disposables for overnight use, but that will end when we run out.
