Hotdog and a truck ride
Lugnut and I had our hotdog and a truck ride tonight. We went out, got in the truck and drove off looking for a hotdog. Lugnut and I have been looking forward to this since Christmas when he opened up his package. It was that great picture, created by the Missus, that you see up in the header there. I’ve been looking forward to the trip since before Christmas, really, when I thought of what Lug would like the best. Hotdogs and trucks can’t be beat.
We headed out for Sonic, thinking that would be the best place. We’d get to drive up to the restuarant and eat in the truck! When we got there I was disappointed (only slightly) that they offered only a $2.50 foot long hotdog. So we backed out of there and motored over to Time Out Deli. What a great choice. Lug and I had out hotdogs and fries. I’m really stoked about the Time Out Deli. Thanks to AT and family for that heads-up. It’s one of the best kept secrets here in Oak Ridge.
Lugnut and I took the truck and went to look for still lit Christmas lights. By this point lug was wearing out so we looked at a couple bright spots and headed home.
Of course the Missus was hungry when we got home, so after we got the boys into bed, I went back out to the Time Out. (I was still hungry, too.)
