Poke Him
Last night l felt Lou kick and roll around inside the Missus. Amazing to feel the sudden buldge there at her belly.
The Missus said,
“He’s moving! Quick feel here.”
I felt him once, then nothing.
“I don’t feel him now,” I said.
“Poke him, that usually gets him going.”
So I poked and there, again, he moved. And again l felt the rolling bulge as he pressed outwards.

On other fronts: the big pillow is evidently comfortable, but not the hoped for poor sleep cure. Too bad, but it’s good that Tylenol pm is a-ok according to the obgyn. Nothing like drugs.

Further evidence that we like to irritate our kids early on.

I really do enjoy the pillow and think that it is making a difference in sleeping comfort. Unfortunately, the Snoogle doesn’t have much influence over hormones, heartburn or a full bladder every 2 hours. Ah well, frequent waking is good practice for when Lou comes along.
Oddly enough, baby movement was one of my favorite things about being pregnant. I especially liked the alien-like terrain when the baby did a complete 360.
