Update
The giant pillow and hippie sling arrived in the mail over the past couple days. I’m pleased at first sight by both of them. Yes, the Hippie Sling is just fabric and metal hoops. The pillow is only fabric and stuffing. Hopefully both will prove to be worth our investment.
The Missus is asleep on the pillow right now, so you’ll have wait for that first report. As for the sling, I am told that Lugnut was the guinea pig. He survived the Missus’ first attempts at putting the contraption on, but didn’t stay in it for very long. Seems he got restless and wanted down soon after the Missus got him situated. I wish I could have seen all that.
Yeah, I can’t see ol’Lug being too interested in hanging from the sling.
The pillow is very nice. Good sleep is definitely worth the investment.
The instructional DVD that came with the sling is hilarious. Low-budget and stiffly spoken. The lady makes the point several times how easy it is to nurse your baby in the sling. All you can see is this little squirming bundle. It’s great.
